LAFI
started
a series of collaborations with local institutions
to bring international programming to our communities
in Maryland and Washington, DC. Among the new porgrams
this season is the co-sponsoring of
Teatro de la Luna's 9th International Festival of
Hispanic Theater. As part of this festival will
present Vida,
Amor y Risa, a comedy performance
by world acclaimed clown mime Carlos
Alvarez from Colombia. Click

Other collaborations include music and Dance workshops
with the renown Peruvian folkloric group Peru
Negro at the Clarice Smith Performing
Arts Center of the University of Maryland. (Click

Sophie's Parlor for series of women film in March
to celebrate International Women's Month. Visit
