Saxophonist and Teaching Artist Jeff Antoniuk is expanding his educational project, "Jazz Band Masterclass" to LAFI!

After a successful year of leading JBM groups in Annapolis, MD, Jeff is adding the DC area to his Jazz Band Masterclass program. After years of being asked by fans and adult students where they can go to play or sit in, Jeff has created an answer for them. Small groups have been meeting for over a year, and new ones are forming - you will meet regularly, be rehearsed by Jeff and other local professionals, play a few gigs, and maybe even record a CD!

All instruments and ability levels are welcome. Groups are assembled with the musical experience of their personnel in mind. As long as you've spent some time listening to jazz and have a bit of experience with improvisation, there is likely a group for you. Jazz Band Masterclass groups are meeting now!
